This is a pretty nifty gadget to make tea. Load the basket with loose leaf tea, push down and fill your pot with hot water. When tea is ready, just push the button, and you'll see the infuser basket float to the top, so all the tea leaves will be separated from the infusion. That prevents oversteeping of the tea! Many teas can be easily re-steeped by simply pushing the infuser basket down again and pouring fresh water in.
